Sporty Car When It Works By BillF on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I first met my wife she owned this two seater sports car convertable in inca yellow. She used to kid that you had to fold my legs to get in it with my 6'4 frame and this definetly mini car. On the Positive side looks cool, handles real well and had excellent gas milage with its light weight, 4 cyclider engine and standard transmittion. The Triumph like many brithish cars had electrical porblems in the rain. I remeber my wife with a hairdryer to get the car to start when it was raining. The muffler was too heavy on this model and wanted to fall off. When my wife was pregnanat it had to be replaced with a more reliable car or we needed a extra tow truck. My Best Man at our wedding told a only slightly exagerated story about my wife having her muffler fall down and need a hanger rewiring in the springfield mixing bowl and me being so galant coming to her rescue to help solve the problem and bringing her some flowers. On the whole a average car.
