Spring Valley Niacin 500mg

I have been seeing my cholesterol numbers go up for the last few years.My doctor suggested I try Niacin supplement pills, which are a more natural way to reduce my cholesterol without hitting the big gun cholesterol medications that are out there.I started taking this vitamin 1000mg a day and after taking it for 3 months I had my cholesterol checked and it had gone down 25 points.My doctor was so happy with this. He has increased my dose to 1500mg a day for 3 more months and I will go back in a month and half to have it tested again.I have a strong family history of high cholesterol so I really want to keep it under control as long as I can without actually taking the prescriptioin type medicines the doctors have to prescribe.
