SPRO Aruku Shad Lipless Crankbait
By fyadsep onThe Aruku Shad is SPRO's lipless crankbait (ie. rattle trap) design. Its design features a rattling body that runs nose down to reduce snags, as well as a variety of lifelike color patterns ranging from holographic shad to perch and firetiger. Bass baits like these are very effective around sparse grass and weed vegetation situations. Bass will often use grass patches as an ambush point and one of these baits passing by will be sure to trigger a strike. The larger size Aruka Shads are heavy and sink pretty fast, so they are good for covering deep water. The lure has a great action when using a ripping or start/stop retrieve. Often bass will strike on the pause and fall of the lure. The paint job on the lure is nice but can chip off when encountering a toothy fish or structure. At around $7 each, the SPRO Aruku Shad is a good choice for a quality lipless crankbait.

Great job pointing out all the attributes of this lure. I will have to let my husband know what you thought of it. Thanks for sharing your experience with this!
