I got this necklace as a Christmas gift from one of my dear friends. Obviously, she knows me well, as I love squid (alive, in real life, not to eat). This necklace, along with the squid is actually beautiful. It is a square, cream coloured pendant with a blue square in the middle. The squids are in a sepia tone and look like they are from an old natural history book.

I wore this necklace for the first time to work today, and I got tons of compliments. Most people didn't see the squid right away, but the blue and cream design caught their eye. And when they saw the squid, they all laughed. I am in love with this necklace, and I need to buy more things from the lovely Etsy shop. And even better, it came in an adorable little tin. This shop (and any of the pendants) would be great for gifts, although they don't come with a chain, so you might want to include one.
