The Stratocaster has been used by some of the best Rock musicians of all time, and to be able to play this guitar was a pleasure. It doesn't stack up to it's Fender counterpart in quality and sound, but when I bought it, it was only 150 dollars, which is a great deal for a beginner's guitar. Couples with effect pedals and a nice amp, this guitar sounds great. I also bought one for a friend of mine who wanted to start playing electric guitar, and he loved it. After awhile, it's wise to replace the humbuckers, as I did. This will allow any enthusiast to play around with the sound, and not be afraid of breaking an expensive guitar. Overall, this is a good quality guitar, with good electronics. It would make a perfect starter guitar for any young player.
