This is stretchy denim Skort with built in shorts by St. Jon's Bay. They look like a Denim mini skirt. The length falls just above the knees, there is a zipper and single button closure and also comes with a denim tie/belt. There are 2 front pockets and 2 back pockets. It's a pretty basic simple piece, easy to mix and match with tops.

I am NOT a skirt wearing kind of girl but the built in shorts makes me way comfortable wearing these! I have such a problem finding clothes that fit right! I'm short and I still haven't lost all the weight from my last pregnancy. These are that stretch denim material so they fit nicely all over.
I think this is great for casual wear. I don't know if I can say if it is “slimming “ or not because I have BIG hips and don't think anything I wear can be “slimming” but I will say that these sure look cute on!!
The one little thing that bugs me a little is the tie belt…it makes a bit of a knot/lump so your shirt can sometimes look funny with the knot under it…I don't like to wear shorty tops so I am more selective with the shirts I choose to wear with this. Also I should add that these sit at a normal place on the waist NOT low and around the hips like all the youngsters are wearing.
I got these at JC Penney's they are regularly priced at $30.00 but I was lucky enough to get mine recently during one of JC Penney's storewide clearance sales at 70% off! I only paid $7.49.

These look very attractive and would be great for summer parties where you might not want to just wear shorts.
