St. Joseph's Federal Credit Union
By vsimeone onI have been a member of St. Joseph's Federal Credit Union for about sixteen years.This credit union is open to any member of about 6 local churches.Over the years, the credit union has immensely expanded their services.In fact, they are currently building a new facility next to the one that they are outgrowing!
I like being a member of this credit union for many reasons.One, I am not very good at balancing my checking account but St. Joseph's does not charge any overdraft fees if they can transfer the overdraft amount out of your savings.I have direct deposit into both my checking and savings so on the rare occasion that I have an overdraft, I always have funds to cover it.
Two, I have an extremely low interest rate on my car loan because I chose the option to have my payment automatically deducted from my savings account each month.This also is convenient that I never need to remember to pay the car payment!
During the past several years, St. Joseph's has added the ability to maintain all of your accounts online as well as online bill payments.I intend to keep my finances at St. Joseph's for many years to come!
Your credit union sounds like a super place to bank!
My bank is good, but I love that they will transfer from savings to cover checking. I'm really good at forgetting to transfer funds into checking to cover a check I have written.
That is so nice & rare that your credit union will transfer funds with no fee for an overdraft!!!
