Any tidy mom knows the importance of a bib at mealtime. You have to use one if you want to avoid changing your childs clothes several times a day, especially in the winter when it's too cold to allow them to eat shirtless. Because you go through so many bibs quickly, I would consider myself a bit of an expert on the subject. After many types of cloth bibs, and many loads of laundry, I decided it was time to try something new. I found these stage-2 bibs at K-mart. Since then, I have also seen them at Wal-Mart. I love them! They snap. No Velcro. The have two size selections on each bib, so you can use them for a long time. You have a choice of having a pocket at the bottom or not, also by snapping. They have really cute designs on them, too. But, to me, the absolute best part is: you can put them in the dishwasher! Just stick 'em on the top rack and you're done. You are going to run the dishwasher anyway, so why not?

I quickly gave up on cloth bibs and only stuck to bibs that could be easily wiped, rinsed or put in the dishwasher. I'll be sure to try these bibs for baby #2!
I also dislike cloth bibs, I really love the plastic ones, they wipe right off! I've never put them in the dishwasher, I'll have to give that a whirl sometime.
