Stamina In Stride Electronic Mini Stepper By Lorianna on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
A friend of mine has bought this mini stepper from Amazon for only $59. Unlike traditional stair climbers that are built like mini-escalators with moving steps, this one is very small and compact, it basically consists of two stepping pads on a base plus a small monitor. Despite being so small that you can hide it under your office desk, the stepper does a good job imitating the stair-climbing motion. As I got on the unit to try it, I found it very easy to use at first, but after about five minutes I began to feel the impact. It was very much like climbing stairs, and my leg muscles were getting a good workout. The monitor is very basic, it displays your time and counts your steps. One thing that can be mentioned as a possible drawback is that you cannot change or adjust resistance – what you get is what you get, like it or not. However, I found the resistance just right, so I probably wouldn't adjust it, anyway.

Sounds like a pretty good product for only $60 with a timer and counter too. Thanks for the info.
Sounds like this really works. Thanks for the information.
Sounds like something I might be able to use. Is it hard to balance on this small unit? I got the impression it does not have a handle or anything to hold on to.
This really does provide an excellent workout doesn't it?! You must have some sharp looking calves!!!
Informative and well written. thanks for sharing.
Now this is a piece of equipment that I actually have room for! Thanks :)
