Stamps.Com Good For Shipping, Postage By Jon67 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My company has been with Stamps.com since before I was hired. In my industry, there always is a debate about the best, cheapest and most efficient way to ship products with USPS. Stamps.com's online postage has been the best way for our office to mail out packages with little fuss.In order to mail a package, we open the software and login to our Stamps.com account. After choosing what type of item we're shipping and how we want the postage to print, we put our labels or paper in the printer and send it through. It's a simple system that has served us well, and we only had a glitch when we got a new printer because it didn't want to configure properly.

Our company makes regular use of client cost codes, which allow us to track postage for our individual clients. Stamps.com lets us print "hidden postage," which is a valid shipping label that doesn't say how much we paid to send it. Earlier this year, we decided to join the Professional Shipper plan, which permits ODBC integration and customized shipping profiles.

Our company has had some communication issues with Stamps.com customer service, but we were able to iron it out quickly.

Firms that do a lot of shipping should seriously consider joining Stamps.com. It has been a great service for us.
