This was another had to buy in emergency situation things i was out doing a job and the one I had wound up broken so I had to quickly come up with a new one. This Stanley twelve Footer was perfect for finishing the job, even though it was mall and inexpensive. I used it to finish the job and it since has become one of my favorites. It has a palm grip lever lock on the bottom which makes it much easier for me to use than the ones with the lock on top, it just seems a more natural grip than the old style tapes. I also enjoyed the fact it was an easy read tape with the fractions marked on it, I have noticed this becoming more and more common in a lot of brands. This a very welcome change added to the tool especially for when your working with someone that can't read a ruler.
