Staples Cd R By tbk06 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you've heard of the saying, you get what you pay for, then you should already know the quality of these Staples CD-R's. I bought them because I had to burn lots of copies of these home made movie projects and the way to go seemed to be the cheapest. However, I paid for it in the end. Though the size, format, ease of use, and all of that good stuff is the same as other CD-R and CD-RW brands, what really lacked was reliability. They would constantly fail while writing and some wouldn't even be recognized as CD-R's and wouldn't let me put anything on them even if it was a fresh blank from the cylinder. About 1 in 5 would actually succeed, so while I initially had 50, I only really had 10 good CD-R's. In this case I would definitely recommend paying a little bit extra.
