This paper shredder has about a 8 page at a time limit. There is a special slot to shred credit cards. It can not shred CDs and DVDs. It does do a nice job of shredding. If you do a bunch that is too much, most times you can work it through the machine by reversing and turning it on. Repeat these steps until it all gets shredded. Sometimes and unopened envelope such as junk mail is too thick to do at one time. The switch can be on, off, or in reverse. The bin seems big, but it doesn't hold that much. Maybe that's because I tend to wait to shred things until I have a big batch to do. If you watch in the sale circulars you might be able to find this one with a rebate. I think it does a nice job for a home office.
