Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Darth Maul.Those two words sum up the only positive thing I can say about this first prequel of the Star Wars Saga.I don't care how many blades you give him, he can't save the movie.Focusing purely on pretty graphics and stomping on childhood dreams, George Lucas gives us a laser light show that will leave you feeling empty.Whacky sidekicks are okay, annoying humanoids that you can't understand are not.On top of this, lets cast a child who can't deliver a line to save his life as the central character of a six movie saga.Oh well, I guess the Star Wars name is enough to sell anything that is released.The special features in this 2 dvd set are plentiful.Never before have we gotten so much insight on how much work goes into making a terrible movie.
