Star Wars Galaxies: The Complete Online Adventures By Baseline on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Ok, I think it's now official that Star Wars Galaxies has won the award for biggest crash and burn in massively multiplayer online gaming history, and it probably will not be beaten in that regards. I played this game from launch, and yes, I'm another one of those scorned SWG vets you hear about on gaming forums around the web. We aren't just unreasonable people, we're people that invested a lot of time in a game and grew into loving it and had it all thrown upside down on us.

If you do a little research, particularly about the NGE and other SWG "revamps" that dev teams and creative directors used to change the game, you'll find an endless amount of outcries from the fanbase. This game was the most fun I ever had in a video game when I started playing it with a bunch of friends. We all still mention the game now and then to this day, but never again would we dare set foot in SWG. It's just asking to be burned.
