Reviewing: Michael Crichton State Of Fear
Purchased at: Amazon.Com

State of fear is a billion dollar novel, except for its ending, which is the only thing I didnt like in it. The ending, actually could have been better. I really like Crichton's works, and among them, this one stands out well. It's all about global warming, and how it can be a total scam. The story is centered around various places including Paris, and many many places in the US, and also has a location in Antartica. The action and adventure in Antartica are really thrilling and chilling.

The novel is a total and perfect mix of action, adventure and thrill. Many many scenes of adventure are present, though some of them might seema little unrealistic, Crichton style perhaps. But the science is the most noticeable ferature of the novel.

That means, if you have no primer into science, this work is not for you. You have to be able to understand what is global warming, what is environmental biology, and many more weird scientific terms like cavitation, sonar cavitation generators, wave mechanics, tsunamies etc.

If you are a scientist, perhaps you will want to check the accuracy of the total work, but Crichton novels are most accurate and highly researched ones, as they ever where. You would wish to give this a try, but beprepared to be disappointed at the end. I actually believed that this novel was brewing to become a legal thriller, but was disappointed at that it wasnt.

I put a smaller rating for understandability taking care of normal readers with no much understanding of science terms.
