Steam your hair home!

I purchased the Gold N' Hot professional conditioning heat cap so I could do deep conditioning treatments myself at home. I like to deep treat my hair at least 2-3 times a week and there's no way I am going to visit the salon that often and pay $40-$50 each treatment.

The Conditioning Heat Cap has 3 heat settings: Low, Medium and High. It comes with a reuseable/washable inner liner cap (but I just use ceap shower caps from the dollar store instead), and an adjustable chin strap so the heat cap stays put! It plus into an outlet and within seconds you can feel the heat. I usually curl up with a book for the 15-30 minutes I do a deep conditioning treatment on my hair because the cord isn't very long so you'd want to stay in one spot for the duration.

Sometimes I use cheap conditionaer like V05 or Aussie Moist mixed with a little extra virgin olive oil for a treatment. Other times I will use Yes to Carrots, ORS Pak, DR-11, Lanza Healing Moisture conditioner or other deep treatments. I love the way my hair feels afterwards. Soft and silky, like the conditioner really penetrated my hair shaft. Detangling is also very easy after using the Conditioning Heat Cap.
