Stearnes Infant Life Jacket

Before my daughter's first summer vacation, I purchased a Stearnes life jacket for her so she could go boating with us.These life jackets are made especially for little ones.
They have a pillow that floats behind the baby's head when they are laying back in the water.I put my daughter in the water while she was wearing the life vest and she loved floating on her back.Her headnever got in the water and she never rolled over.
There is a strap that goes between your baby's legs to keep the life jacket from slipping up over the baby's head.
Just from playing in the water with her wearing it, I got the sense that this is a high quality life jacket that would keep my baby safe in case something were to happen while out on the water.
The bulk of the jacket is rather constricting, and seemed a little uncomfortable to her when it was zipped up under her chin.That was the only drawback I experienced.
What a product! Aren't they all a little uncomfortable under the chin, even for grownups? haha.
What a special picture of the two of you. Love it. I think this is such an important thing for all parents to have if they are around or in the water with little children. Sorry it was a bit tight for her....hopefully that was the only thing you disliked!
What a cute little life jacket! From the picture, it doesn't look like she minds wearing it too much... but I am only getting the still version. Your description makes the jacket sound like it would be great for safety as long as the child is comfortable in it.
Aww, how cute. This is exactly what I need to get for my daughter. She is 6 months old now. We plan to go on boats this summer and I want to make sure she has something made for a baby. This seems perfect!
