Step 2 Lifestyle Twin Bed

We bought this twin size bed for my 4 year old son and he instantly fell in love with it. He feels like such a big boy when he climbs up ladder to crawl into bed. He loves to use the underneath part as a fort while playing and I love the fact we can put toys, etc, under there for storage. I feel this bed is perfect for a child who wants the 'big boy bunk bed' feel, but, whose parents worry about how high the bunk beds set of the ground...this bed is a perfect height and no worries for the parents. Step 2 quality is excellent and it will fit into almost all decors. The pictures of this bed is a little deceiving, the bed looks huge to me and I wondered about it when we ordered it, but, its not as 'big' as the picture makes it out to look. You will more than likely have to order the bed online, which I found Wal-mart to offer the best deal with shipping, but, you may want to check around..I wish Step 2 would offer this product is stores. One note to add which isn't explained well in the Step 2 paperwork, when you get a mattress for this bed, go with a bunky board or a low-profile boxspring, otherwise, the mattress will go above the ladder.

I love step 2 products I think they are very well made my daughters have had tons of their stuff and I have never been disappointed.
Step 2 products are great. I didn't realize they made beds too. My son is too old for something like this now but I bet he would have loved it when he was younger.
This looks like the perfect little bed for just out of the crib. I can see 2+ year old's loving it!
When I was a kid the bunkbed I slept in was soooo tall. This sounds like a much safer option.

This bed sounds great for transitioning into a twin bed. With the space you can use underneath too I bet it works very well in small bedrooms where you don't have a lot of room.
Sounds great. My son would have LOVED this (and probably still would) when he was little. Wish you had posted a picture of it though.
