Stephen King's Insomnia By Kurenai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Once again Stephen King delivers with another great book. I picked up Insomnia at the nearest bookstore because the cover made it out to look like a genuinely creepy book.

The story begins with a mixture of "daily life" with mystery slowly seeping it's way in. There is no supernatural antagnoistic force at the beginning, but instead it is one of the debates we deal with everyday: the abortion debate. Even when the supernatural does come into play later on in the book, King does a good job of making his storyline seem quite real by weaving the debate into the story.

The only fault with the book is that it tends to get a bit weary in the beginning, but later on grabs you to keep on reading. There's also nice artwork to go with the chapters. Overall, I'd recommend this book!
