Stephen King's The Cell Novel By Summer Banks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I am a horror lover at heart. When went in for surgery a few months back, needed a book to read. Stephen King's The Cell was my selection. It took me many months to finish.

The book starts out heavy and strong. You know within minutes what is going to happen, but you are unsure if what you are reading is reality or fiction.

The book soon falls to the boring side and the reader is left with long pages of the same dialog over and over again, with small spurts of action here or there.

I would not read this book again. Stephen King is the master of horror, but did not hit home with this one. The book reads more like a movie script and needed visual action to play out uniquely. The Cell, I hope it becomes a movie one day, but as a book this one is a dud!
