Stephen King's The Green Mile By Kurenai on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I first saw a movie adaptation of this book and liked it. I saw the book version on sale at Waldenbooks and decided to check it out to see if it was better or worse than the movie.

After thoroughly reading the book, I've come to the conclusion that the movie does it almost no justice at all. The book is more descriptive than the movie and changes between the two were easy to spot. The book describes the plot more thoroughly and with more emotion. There's several parts in the book where I just flat-out cried because the words were surging with so much emotion.

This book is easily one of King's best works to date. It's written beautifuly, has a powerful story, and will definetly leave an impression. I highly recommend to not miss out on this wonderful book!
