Stick Em Led Lights By Cyn Bagley on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
Okay, my husband and I are into emergency management. He does it as work and as a hobby. So when we found the Osram Sylvania LED lights, we thought that they were cute (me) and useful (him). The lights are small, round, with 3-M sticky tape on the back.
You can put these lights in the car, in the house, in the drawers, and about anywhere else that you can think of putting them. They use a AAA battery for power. Because they use LED light technology, these lights last a very long time.
The LEDs are extremely bright. Once when we lost power at night, we only needed to turn on one of these lights to see in our small living room. It turns off and on with a switch (touch the lights). Very easy to use.
One note: when you decide to be emergency compliant, you should remember to make sure that you have a power standard. In English, it means that you should use one type of battery for all your equipment. The woodland firefighters in Nevada and around the Western States use the AA battery. So if you use radios, lights, and other equipment, use AA batteries. The reason firefighters do not use D cell batteries is because they are heavier and AA are just easier to get.
