Stila Petal Infusion Cleansing Cloths
By Laurel1 onI have very sensitive skin, especially around my eyes. Most facial cleansers are not intended for use in the eye area, and most eye make-up removers feel oily to me. In my search to avoid waking up with raccoon eyes, leaving mascara streaks on my pillow, and irritating my skin, I came across Stila's Petal Infusion Cleansing Cloths.
These come in a pretty blue plastic container with a floral pattern -- apparently to remind you that it contains floral extracts, in case you didn't understand that from the name. There are 40 cloths in each $18 package. The cloths come out and separate themselves well, so that you don't have to stuff half of the next one down into the package. They are pre-moistened, and remain so in the container. They contain water, glycerin, and botanicals including camellia leaf extract, orange oil, bergamot oil, and lavender oil, and have a light, fresh scent that isn't overly flowery.
Each cloth works well for removing eye make-up; if you want to cleanse your entire face, however, you'll need three to four of them.Because they really are more of a make-up remover -- and only part of your make-up with one cloth, at that -- I'm giving them an overall rating of 3.0.As an eye make-up remover, especially for people with sensitive skin, my rating would be 4.5. I feel they are a little expensive for what you get, but part of Stila's price is for the glamour factor!
