Reviewing: Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizers
Purchased at: Sephora.Com, Sephora, Macy's (Some Stores)     Price: $30.00 USD

I don't like the way most foundations feel on my skin, so I've tried some tinted moisturizers as potential replacements, since my skin is clear and mostly wrinkle-free.Stila makes two of the better ones, and the Sheer Color is one that I bought for myself last spring.

At $30 for a 1.7 ounce tube, it's not exactly a bargain, but I was going for quality. They have fewer shades than some brands, like Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown, but their Fair is light enough for my pale skin.It has sun protection with an SPF of 15, which comes from two natural ingredients, Octinoxate and Avobenzene.Avobenzene, despite having "benzene" in its name, comes from an Asian tree often used in cosmetics and fragrances, and is probably the source of the great fresh scent. The Stila Sheer Color moisturizer is sheerer than some other brands, as you might expect from the name, but it goes on with a light feel.I put on two layers, because my skin is dry and absorbs most of the first layer.

This is an excellent product, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a sheer tinted moisturizer. For women who need foundation, this product doesn't provide enough coverage. The price is a little steep, but it's worth it if you can save up for it.
