St.Ive's Oil Free Invigorating Apricot Scrub By Kevin Assam on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Now as a lover of St.Ive's products I had to say that after using many of their bath products I decided to try their facial skin care line and I was very disappointed.Apricots are one of the fruits which seems to be setting a trend for face washes and skin care products altogether. However sometimes they fall flat....much like this product. Upon application of this product you can feel your face becoming red from its intensity....ummm, I guess that's why it's called invigorating. But upon washing this exfoliator off you face feels really clean and soft like a baby's bottom : ) . But your face looks extremely red and this redness which no one likes lasts for about 15 minutes to a half hour if you're really unlucky. It can also deprive your skin of way too much of its natural oils which in turn are your skin's natural moisturizer. It can also leave that noticeable shine that occurs when your skin has been too harshly dried which is exactly what this product does.I know that it has generally good reviews but I think that when St.Ives made this product oil free then they kind of tarnished the original product pre-change,Final verdict: An absolute terrible exfoliator. Please keep this away from me!
