My daughter has fought allergies since she was an infant. The older she gets the worse they seem to effect her. She has seen doctor after doctor and tried just about every type of allergy medication you can get your hands on. Nasal sprays, liquids, pills have all been only half way effective for her. Her new pediatrician is a firm believer in combining prescription allergy medications with some over the counter and his method this far has been very effective in her battle. Her over the counter medication that he recommended was Claritin after Benadyrl didn't do much at all even with prescription medicatiosn to help. From day one with the Claritin her breathing has gotten much better. She no longer walks around sniffling and wipe her nose all the time and for once she can actually go outside and play in the evening without paying the consequences tha night.

Claritin seems to work so well for so many people. I've not tried it but will keep it in mind to ask my doctor during my next visit.
It's so hard to watch your kids feeling poorly. Glad this is helping her.
