If you love your dog, you will do everything to make their lives happy and healthy. This, of course, involves keeping your dog clean. But, the shampoo you use could actually make them less happy and add discomfort to their life.

When I first got my dog, I wanted to buy lots of products to keep her healthy and clean. I bought Hartz Shampoo thinking it would be a good product for her. Unfortunately, after washing her with Hartz Shampoo I noticed she started scratching and licking herself until a spot of fur started to come out.

I took her to the vet unsure of what was going on. The vet told me that shampoos marketing to dog owners weren't the best product to use. He actually said the best thing to wash your pet in was your own shampoo.

If you want your dog to be healthy and happy, use your own shampoo during bath time.
