Storage Chest By wahmamy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We bought this storage chest for our daughters' toy room. It looked great in the catalog and the perfect size. I wasn't sure how the quality would be since it is made of fiberboard and it required assembly but the price was reasonable and for nearly $200 I thought it would be durable. It was pretty easy to put together, time consuming and the instructions weren't clear on some steps but I figured it out. Took me about 6 hours to put together. The doors pull down and I liked that look but so far after just having for 1 month the doors are pulling off the hinges. I like the look and the size but the quality isn't as good as I hoped especially for kids who may not be as careful opening doors. I wanted the pull down doors to hide books and things to have the clean look but now as they are breaking I am reconsidering.
