Strait Line Laser Level By manwithadream on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My wife and I have worked on a lot of remodeling projects and this Strait-Line Laser Level has been very useful to us. We have used it to help level and hang cabinets, get a straight line to start wallpaper sheets, install curtain rods evenly and so much more. It has a 5-year warranty.
The level works with 2 AA batteries that will last over 10 hours of continuous use. The laser will extend 60 ft., and we have found it to be very accurate at 3/16" +/- at 20'. The Strait-Line has a 360-degree rotation for 120' work area. Dual bubble levels make it easy for us to level horizontally or vertically. The 8-degree tilt adjustment helps with line length and brightness, and the measurement ring on the base is for angles.
The level comes with 3M command adhesive strips, so we can mount the level right to the wall to allow us to mark the line without having to hold onto the level. The adhesive strips do not damage the wall and can be easily removed. Additional strips can be purchased at the hardware store.
This is a must have for every toolbox.

If only we would have had this before we hung the huge wolf picture. We're going to do a lot of work on the house this year. I guess we better get one of these. Thanks.
I bought one of these for my husband two years ago and it's still sitting in the box. I am glad to know it actually works and someone likes it.
I bought this laser level for my husband and he loves it. It is such an important tool to have around the house and great for so many different projects!
Awesome!! My husband and I have seen this and have been skeptical, I am glad that it really does work, he may get this for Fathers Day, another great gift idea!
This sounds like a very useful tool to have in your toolbox. Thank you for the information.
Yeah, I want one of these. So you've managed to make me drool. Thanks for the info on the different ways that it works!
Oh, I like the feature of being able to stick it to the wall. It is such a pain to get someone to hold mine for me!
Got this one for my husband for Christmas! A new fun, functional tool!
I really want one of these, we had bought a much cheaper one and it doesn't work worth a darn. Maybe we'll give this one a shot for our next home improvement project!
Would be great, but in my house, nothing is level or square, so things would look outof place :/
