Strange Highways By Dean Koontz Strange Indeed! By Demon_Buttercup on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I'm a big Dean Koontz fan and I always try to keep an eye out for one of his many novels when I am out garage-saling. I found Strange Highways for a quarter - quite a worthy deal!
Until then, I did not realize Koontz had a novel of short stories, much like Stephen King had put out. I was excited that it was full of short stories because I am one of those readers that needs to finish a story the night she starts - I don't want to wait, I want to devour it all right away. However, as most of you may know, it gets hard to find that much time in one sitting when you get older have a family.
The stories were perfect - some were as long as 100 or pages and others just 9 or 10 pages. There were a couple I really enjoyed and 1 or 2 that I thought were kind of the stinkers of the book, but that is just compared to the ones I really enjoyed.
This book is perfect to bring with you when you are waiting for an appointment, when baby is down for a nap, or just about whenever you only have a short time to enjoy some creepy fiction.
