Strasburg Railroad Train Station By Dadof2Disneyboys on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I visited the Strasburg Railroad Train Station a few years back with my family while on a trip to Hershey and Strasburg Pennsylvania. Strasburg is all about trains and is a great place to take your family, especially if you have little kids who love trains. The Strasburg Railroad Station offers train rides for visitors. The ride is on a track that goes straight into the next town and then the train comes straight back on the same track. It was a little boring for my wife and I, but the kids sure enjoyed it. The trains are nice and comfortable inside, although they are a little old. The ride goes through the counrty and past some farms and they tell you some history about the Strasburg railroad and the Strasburg are itself, which was interesting . Admission was $9.50 for adults and $4.75 for kids. They run the L.O.&S. train on the weekdays, which we rode, and they run the Steamtrain on the weekends. Across the street is the Strasburg Railroad Museum.
