Reviewing: Olympic Fasthide Exterior Latex Paint
Purchased at: Lowe's     Price: $15.97 USD

My white vinyl home does not have a lot of wood to maintain, however the door trim is wood and as with any wood it needs to be repainted from tim to time. I noticed that the trim around the garage door was beginning to flake so I went in search of a quality exterior paint.

I selected Fasthide Exterior Latex Semi-Gloss paint by Olympic. A one gallon can would be more than enough to paint all of the exterior door trim. Naturally I selected white to repaint the trim so that it would match the white vinyl. The semi-gloss appearance was a perfect choice. The paint was easy to apply and clean up. The paint dried quickly.

Prior to applying two coats of Fasthide Exterior Latex Semi-Gloss paint I stripped off all the old paint with Strypeeze Original Semi-Paste Stripper and applied two coats of primer. After the trim was stripped, primed and painted it looked like it was new. I took my time stripping, sanding and painting to provide a smooth finish without runs. I do not get in a big hurry with household projects. My primary objective is quality.

I am pleased with the appearance and durability of Fasthide Exterior Latex Semi-Gloss exterior paint.
