Stylin in the Zox Shorty

Reviewing: Zox Old School Shorty Helmet
Purchased at: The Bike Shop     Price: $50.00 CAD

A couple of years ago we found this adorable scooter at a yard sale - the Yamahopper QT 50. The price was right, and away we went into the adventure that is motorized bikes.

The bike came with a helmet, so we didn't actually shop this, but neither have we found a need to. This classic skid lid is very reassuring in its hard heaviness, yet it's a shorty so it's not so hot to wear. But it looks hot, or cool, or whatever the kids are saying these days.

The only thing that would send me into the stores to replace this, and it's just not enough of a bother to bring that about, but the strap is a little uncomfortable. It's possible there's a sizing issue there, though the helmet itself feels like a good fit. Or maybe that's just the way it is with motorcycle helmets. Either way, it's a fairly small matter considering the overall confidence this helmet gives us.

I like the looks of this sleek little helmet. It suits your Yamahopper perfectly. Maybe you could find an extender for the strap. Though in my experience they are supposed to fit snugly.

I like the look of this helmet too. Great for the scooter -- and I love the scooter name! Yamahopper! Just too funny! Great info, thank you!

This helmet reminds me of the one Colonel Klink wears on Hogan's Heroes!!!
