Suave Professionals Are They As Good? By April on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

After paying so much for the name brand shampoo and conditioner, I thought I would try a "compare to" product and see if it gave me the same results. When I first opened up the shampoo bottle, the aroma was nearly identical to the name brand. I like good smelling shampoo and conditioner, so I thought it was off to a good start. The lather of the shampoo was good, it only took a small drop to cover my medium-length hair. It felt like it rinsed clean, a definite plus. I opened the conditioner, which had the same similar scent of the name brand. It lathered well, but did feel a little thicker than the name brand. I kept it on my hair for 60 seconds before rinsing, as I do with the name brand. It rinsed okay, but felt like it took a little more water to rinse as well as the name brand rinses. After drying my hair, I didn't notice much of a difference between either the shampoo or conditioner of the Suave brand and name brand. Since Suave is significantly cheaper, I will definetely buy it instead!
