This extra hold gel comes in a 8.5 fl.oz dark green plastic spray bottle. It is designed to define and shape curly hair, natural or permed, it does not matter. I use it each time after I wash my hair, spraying it evenly on damp, towel-dried hair. The gel has a pleasant mellow scent and is a little sticky. My hair absorbs it well, and the curl does look much better, without being frizzy. When the hair is dried, there might me some slight stiffness to it, but it completely goes away after brushing. This gel can be also used to re-define curls that have gotten loose or flat during the day; in that case, what you do is spray some gel on dry hair and scrunch it with your fingers to shape the curls.
I am very satisfied with this product. It is inexpensive, easy to use, and it does what it says.

So this could make some of the curls go where you want them to, instead of where they want to go?
I wonder if it would work for me? I've never found a product that did. I have to straighten with a straightener. I wouldn't mind my curls/wave if only my hair didn't look frizzy and dull... the price is right, so I think I'll give it a try
