I confess: I had not read the directions before buying this hair gel. All I saw was that it is a volumizing, root lifting gel, and I bought it since I wanted something like that for my hair that tends to be flat. When I wanted to use it for the first time, I had learned that you have to blow-dry your hair in order to achieve the root-lifting effect. I normally let my hair air dry, so I guess this gel is not the best one for me. However, when I followed the directions, the hair gel worked as promised. After washing and towel-drying my hair, I sprayed the gel on hair roots, lifting strand after strand; then I blow-dried my hair, once again lifting roots with my hand in the process. The results were good, I did see more volume, and my hair stayed put the way I styled it.

I would recommend Suave Professionals Root Lifter spray hair to anyone who wants more volume to their hair and does not mind blow-drying.
