I decided to try Suave Volumizing Mousse after reading good reviews about it. I have thin fine hair and really need a good mousse. I need a hair product that will make a difference! I like my hair to have some lift especially at the crown and bangs. Suave comes in a mauve can with a gray top. It says max hold 8. Volumizing mousse is supposed to give you body and lift. It states that it provides ultra control and hold without weighing hair down. There is absolutely nothing in this mousse that provides "ultra control" and "hold". I saw no difference with the use of this product. My hair was still flat. The mousse itself was somewhat different than most of the mousses I have tried lately. I sprayed it on a paper towel and it did not run which is a good thing. But the mousse was heavier in my hand and creamier than usual. I moved it around in my hand, it smeared real easy. I really didn't care for the consistency. When I put it on my hair, it just seemed like a heavy weighted blob! This is a cheaper mousse than most. I just didn't like it and will not buy it again.
