Successful Houseplants By karlawmcdonald on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

This is yet another book on gardening, but this one was put together by Ortho, a very reputable name in houseplants and gardening.

This one is more of an encyclopedia, complete with pictures. It also tells you which plants require a lot of light or medium to low light. Also you can determine which plants thrive in what type of soil, which needs a lot of water or minimum watering.

The one thing that helps me a great deal is the pictures, there are literally hundreds that help me in identifying plants I am not certain about.

My mother has always had this habit of dropping citrus seeds in pots, and the trees always sprout and grow but we have yet to produce any fruit until recently. There is two full pages on care of citrus plants, so needless to say I am very pleased. :)
