This was one of the top things my mom wanted for her birthday. She is a huge Jesse L. Martin fan. She loves watching him in re-runs of Law and Order. When she heard he was going to be starring in the movie version of Rent, she had to go to see him in it.

I had the bookstore order this since it wasn't readily available there. The soundtrack is actually two CDs. Each CD has fourteen songs.

Disc one has the following songs: Seasons of Love, Rent, You'll See, One Song Glory, Light my Candle, Today 4 U, Tango: Maureen, Life Support, Out Tonight, Another Day, Will I, Santa Fe, I'll Cover You and Over the Moon.

Disc two has the following songs: La Vie Boheme, I Should Tell You, La Vie Boheme B, Seasons of Love B, Take Me or Leave Me, Without You, I'll Cover You (Reprise), Halloween, Goodbye Love, What You Own, Finale A, Your Eyes, Finale B and Love Heals (Bonus Track).

The cast is as follows: Rosario Dawson as Mimi Marquez, Taye Diggs as Benjamin/Benny Coffin III, Wilson Jermaine Heredia as Angel Schunard, Jesse L. Martin as Thomas B./Tom Collins, Idina Menzel as Maureen Johnson, Adam Pascal as Roger Davis, Anthony Rapp as Mark Cohen and Tracie Thoms as Joanne Jefferson.

The music on here sounds so clear. The quality is shockingly great. It sounds amazing on my mom's CD player and her car stereo. She's so happy with her gift. My favorite songs on here are Seasons of Love and One Song Glory.
