Sugar Free Hershey's Caramel Filled Chocolates By Bosoxy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I was shopping at Walmart and decided to take a look in the candy aisle to see if they had anything in the sugar free chocolate variety… Right at the beginning of the aisle I spotted bags of Hershey's caramel filled chocolates.

I am a bit of a chocolate snob and really have not cared for the regular sugar free Hershey's but the package just looked so good, and at $1.50 for a 3 oz bag of 10 individually wrapped chocolates I grabbed two.

While I cannot rate these chocolates up with my most favorite sugar free Venchi, they are quite good. The caramel filling is tasty and makes the chocolate just that much more creamy.

No, these do not even taste as good as the Carmello's by Cadbury, but these are Sugar Free… and do not taste sugar free! Of course, the sweetener is malitol so do be careful not to eat too many or you could be hit with “abdominal distress.” Yeah… that is a fancy name for a very unpleasant experience…

5 pieces of these candies have just 150 calories and 2 net carbs.

I buy sugar-free products whenever I can, and I love these!
