Sula: A German Alternative to Halls

Reviewing: Sula Sugar Free, Eucalyptus Flavor

This is another German-made medication I have discovered and tried during my trip to Europe. When I had gotten a sore throat, I began to look for something like Halls Mentho Lyptus cough drops - that's what I usually buy in the US, and the drops work like magic. I found a similar product called Sula.

Sula cough drops are sugar-free, approved for those with diabetes. They also contain Vitamin C; the packaging says that 7-8 drops will meet your daily need for Vitamin C. The drops come in several flavors, I bought the one with eucalyptus. I paid around $1.50 for a 60 gram pack. The pack had about 20 drops, each one in a separate wrapper, just like Halls. The drops look very much like candy, round and light-green in color. They taste sweet despite being sugar-free, and very refreshing. The eucalyptus flavor is very close to that of Halls cough drops with eucalyptus, and so is the effect: my sore throat stopped hurting after the first drop, and each drop gave me immediate cough relief.

I was very happy that I had found Sula, this German alternative to Halls works very well.
