Summer Fun At The Children's Museum By BrookeTx on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Every summer (and even Christmas and Spring Break) our local Children's Museum offers Camps. This years Summer Camps are offerered throughout the summer months.

This year they finally have a camp for the 'younger' children, aged 3-4. However they only offer one camp and only for one week out of the summer. The theme is, Dino Camp and age appropriate.

The other camps are offered throughout the summer for a week at at time. The middle kids camps include, ages 4-6. The themes include space, art, cooking and other fun stuff for kids this age!

The older kids, ages 7-12 are also offered throughout the summer and include a more entailed summer camp than the middle children.

It is not an all day camp rather from mid morning to mid afternoon. That can be inconvienant for working parents. Also the prices are rather high compared to the time and length (or lack there of).

The activities and life skills they learn are great though! I do wish they would incorporate more ages. My youngest is 3 and oldest is 6 and would do very well together!

Since most of the Children's Museum are on the same network, check our your local Children's Museum for their summer camps.

What a great way to keep the kiddos busy during the summer. Nice that they have a lot of age groups.
