Sun Kissed Highlights The Fast Way By morrow1411 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Any one who colors there hair knows just how horrible dealing with roots can be. My roots had grown out at least 3 inches, and I really didn't want to color all my hair again to cover the roots. So I choose to give Sun In a try. It was easy to apply. You just damp your hair, spray it on, comb it in, and let the sun do the rest. I found it at publix, in the isle with the hair coloring kits, and it only cost $3.99. The smell isn't the best, but it's something everyone can tolerate. A bottle has 4.7 ounces and goes a long way. I used the product twice, applying once in the morning for two days, back to back. My dark roots are now a medium to light blonde, and my hair doesn't look like it was every colored. The product even gave highlights to the hair that was colored, making it look 100% natural. Sun In does leave your hair feeling dry while it is on, but as soon as you wash it out, the normal texture returns. If you can't get out in the sun, the bottle says you can use it with a blow drier. It even says blow drying will speed up the results. I spend a total of 2 hours each day in the sun for 2 days, working in my garden. The results was wonderful, and I will continue to use this product as my roots grow out.
