This breadmaker is the first I've ever used or purchased, but I am really glad I finally made the plunge and decided to get one. This particular model was an amazing deal (less than $45 from Amazon.com), and worth every penny. I have tried both basic and egg bread recipes, and both turned out delicious with an absolute minimum of effort - you just put in the ingredients and thee hours later, voila! It is such a treat to be able to have fresh, warm bread waiting for you when you get up in the morning or get home from work, and the delay timer makes this even easier to accomplish. Not to mention that this way, you always know exactly what is going into your food.

We used to buy loaves of bread pretty regularly and always ended up throwing half of them away before we could eat it all, but now we can make our own small loaf (the 1.5lb setting is ideal for me and my girlfriend) whenever we feel like having fresh bread. I'll never buy a supermarket loaf again!
