Sunbeam Rocket Grill - I wasn't impressed
By nightwing onI believe that this product is supposed to be similar to the popular George Forman grills, but without the mess. It is about the size of a bowling ball case, and it looks a bit like R2-D2's head. You basically put the food that you want to cook within special pouches and then insert the pouch inside the Rocket Grill to be grilled. The pouch eliminates the messy clean-up.
The first thing that I did not like about the product was that I could not see the food while it was being grilled. I couldn't just lift a lid to check on the progress. The food is basically held hostage within the device until the timer says so. I am a horrible cook and feel the need to constantly check on stuff, so that was a big downside for me.
Another downside is that every time you cook, you need to use a new pouch. The device itself is a little expensive, but then you constantly need to keep purchasing these special pouches. Sure it is nice to not have a lot to clean up, but its pretty pricey as well.
I really wasn't that impressed this device.
