Suncast B52 Storage Shed
By Amy Nil onAnything would have been better than the shed we inherited when we bought our house. The old one was rusty, had a hole in the floor, and made a ton of noise when we opened it.We wanted to replace the heap of metal with a plastic shed, and we were looking for something small. So far, we are fairly happy with the Suncast B52 storage shed.
This shed is not meant for everyone. It is small - 7 1/2 x 3 feet is the footprint. This means that there is room for a mower, weed whacker, and a few other accessories. It's great for a small yard like ours.
Shelves are a must have for this shed, and need to be purchased separately. One drawback to this shed is that a lot of the Suncast accessories are not compatible (even though it may not say this on the website). We actually ended up building a wood frame inside of the shed so that we could properly mount the hanging shelves that were supposed to fit on their own.Now that we have done this, everything has its place inside, which makes life a lot easier.
The dark brown doors have faded a bit, which is disappointing given that it is only 3 years old.Other than that, it has held up well. It's easy to clean, and we expect it to last for many years!

Glad you got a shed that works for you. However we need a bigger one and sears is where we will look too.
Big price but if it is dirable and sturdy it's worth it. I don't like that shelving needs special installation. On a shed this pricey it should be included. But if it's secure and holds your tools neatly and safely it is doing its job
froggy - I do remember getting this on sale for around $325 or so, and shipping was free if it was picked up at the store. I would definitely recommend holding out for a sale - I should have mentioned this, as I am not sure that it is worth the $475-500 price tag.
Nice that you were able to get something that works for you and your yard, thanks!
This sounds like it has lasted you a long time & is very durable!
