Well its getting to that time of the year when we should be expecting to see some white flakes falling from the heavens. No better time than now to think about getting the essential items to keep the snow off your porch, driveway, sidewalk and deck. What I have found to offer the best bang for the buck is the Suncast steel core shovel. One of the best features is as the name implies, the handle has a steel core that adds the extra strenght needed to lift heavy snow without bending or breaking. Another nice feature of this shovel is the nice sized shovel part on it. The oversided depth and width allows for easy snow manipulation. Now couple that with the steel stip on the base which aides in getting through the driven over packed snow on your driveway and the nice ice that builds up underneath the snow at times. The handle itself is ergonomic so it allows for a comfortable grip. there is also a textured feel to the neck of the shovel so that your hands won't slip while wearing gloves. This is one of the best shovels I have found on the market so far and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
