Sunsilk Voluminzing Shampoo Falls A Little Flat By tunskit on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I tried Sunsilk anti-flat shampoo because I was offered a free bottle. It also came with a bottle of conditioner and a small tube of a leave-in conditioner. It is supposed to make your hair shiny, bouncy, and healthy. It has a pleasant fragrance, but the shampoo is on the thin side, indicating it has too much water content. The conditioner is greasy feeling instead of smooth. The leave-in product is sticky. I washed my hair twice with the products. The shampoo required more than my regular brand to clean about as well. The conditioner was difficult to rinse out of my hair. I was hesitant to leave in the leave-in styling product, but I did. I noticed my hair was slightly bouncier than it is with my regular brand (Pantene), but I didn't notice a big boost in shine. Instead, it had an oily look after a few hours that I attributed to the leave-in conditioner. The three products together didn't leave my hair as shiny and soft as Pantene does. Since the Sunsilk is about the same price as Pantene, I don't see an advantage in changing.
