Purchased at: Best Buy     Price: $159.99 USD

I recently purchased a Seagate FreeAgent Pro 750 Gigabyte external hard drive for my desktop computer.I have a lot of info stored on my computer that I would not want to lose, and I really wanted a good hard drive to back up my computer hard drive. This hard drive is great. It has so much space on it that I have no fear of using it up any time soon, plus it's actually quite a nice looking unit and does not take up a lot of room on my desktop, which I can really appreciate because room is something I do not have much of.My model includes software, a Dual FireWire 400 interface module and cable, USB cable, AC adapter and guide. The software works only with Windows, not Mac, but can be reformatted for Mac computers by using Disk Utility.I absolutely love this hard drive, and now I have the peace of mind of knowing my inportant information and photos are backed up.My husband also has one for his computer and likes it as much as I do.I highly recommend this hard drive.

Update On Jan 20, 2009: I wanted to give an update on my Seagate External Hard Drive.I was doing some work today and when I went to store it on this hard drive, it took a dump and I lost everything on the drive. When my husband connected it to another computer of ours, we saw that nothing was left.I am very disappointed because I lost all of my backup work, and now I have to find another backup drive.I'm not so thrilled with Seagate External Hard Drives after this. What good is it if you need a backup for your backup.:(
